McMahon Heritage Classic Family Skate

Experience a bit of Calgary history while taking your family for a fun outdoor adventure at the McMahon Stadium. The City of Calgary Recreation, along with City TV’s Breakfast Television is offering free public skating to a limited number of participants on a first come, first serve basis. Before the Heritage Classic you can see just what it’s like to skate on an NHL outdoor surface.

Children and adults are recommended to bring helmets, and families can choose from one of three skate times on Friday, February 25th:

-          3:00 to 4:00 pm

-          4:15 to 5:15 pm

-          5:30 to 6:30 pm

McMahon Stadium is located at 1817 Crowchild Trail N.W. Further information is available at calgary.ca/recreation.

If you don’t already have tickets they may be difficult to find, but since the attendance was increased to 40,000 there may still be a few tickets available.
